new owner dumb question

hello im brand new to Tacoma world. i had a 91 toyota pickup that was just totaled in an accident so i just bought a 06 sr5 DCLB taco and will be doing offroading with the truck but have heard the rsca can go off during a wheeling trip. has any one had this happen on the non trd trucks? and is there any way i can get it turned off for wheeling or is there no concern for it?

I had an 06 and I don't remember there being RSCA's.

I know my 2013 has them but there's a RSCA kill button on the panel by the fog light switch.

 

If that was true why do they provide an RSCA disable button ?

You just said you had to be rolling over for them to go off

 

So ... having the switch does nothing

 

so i dont know if 06 have curtain air bags or not that was what i was trying to figure out all i do know is the air bags deploy supposedly at 30 deg and the RSCA button changes that to 70 deg. if this is true then the airbags should go off at a 30 degree angle and thats not very much. please tell me the 06 dont have them.

 

IIRC RSCA was not available in 06

If you do have it there will be a button on the dash and the plastic over the doors will have RSCA molded into the plastic

also so does that mean that the truck is not equipped with traction control?? or is it always on.
