You may never use your heat this winter if you keep that stove going. I think my dad turns the heat on maybe once a week... Just to clean the ash out if the fire place... And even then its only for a few hours. The room your stove is in will sometimes be unbearable to sit in. The rest of the house will be nice and toasty though! Gotta get one for your garage now! Haha

 

If you are gonna trade your truck in you can have my stock parts in exchange for your lift

 

I'm slightly hesitant on doing it because of the snow and having experience driving in it with my old 2wd toyota and it was terrible

 

I thought they were cool for a while. Definitely wouldn't be able to have one as my only truck though.

It's going in the basement, which hopefully will heat the garage too since the basement stairs go into the garage. I don't think it's going to heat the house COMPLETELY. But if it helps offset the gas bill that's good.

Yea if you want to be able to drive in the snow and go offroading you have to keep what you have and buy the x runner as a street toy.

You should check xru xrunnerunderground or whatever their forum is. I found one I really liked that was fully modded and for sale dirt cheap.

On a side note, anyone have a spot I could lift my new truck? I'm about to pull the trigger on an OME lift, just don't feel like working alone and outside in this shitty weather. Or if anyone wants to come down to NY and drink while I work feel free haha

 

Man, I love the look of those things, but I hate riding low. Even my company car which is a crossover feels too low. Don't know if I could ever drive a pickup that's that low.

Didn't miss anything, I haven't been too active lately. Just grabbed a 93 fjz80. Good shape, unfortunately it didn't have factory lockers but it's a nice starting point.

I could see if we can use my uncles shop when I go to build my bed rack. But you may have to lick the floor clean. He is a fucking neat freak! And we would have no issues fitting both trucks in there... Could probably fit 8 trucks in comfortably

my first truck was a 95 toyota pickup 4cyl manual 2wd low rider lol so id be use to it. i miss that old truck had 200,000miles on it when i sold it and was still running like a champ

 

My buddy's old man has a big shop, we could make a pretty killer weekend out of it.
