I'm ambivalent. Maybe if they were actually competitive I'd care a bit more. The way it is, more cars = more exciting start and that's about it. After the start those two teams quickly became road hazards for all of the other teams. Their absence should make for a safer race, if perhaps a bit less exciting because of them not impeding the leaders.

Since it's Halloween so dressing up as the devil's advocate, isn't most (if not all) racing this way? Only the richest top or maybe three teams fighting for the championship while everyone else is mostly filler?

 

I'm not talking about the racing as much as the uneven way that proceeds from the series are divided amongst the teams

FP1 is weird when they all do installation laps , the first time I saw FP1 was live in Montreal and I was like " why the fuck are they all coming back into the pits ? " till I clued in

i didn't think it was all that exciting... not as boring as the russian race but not in the league of a few other races this year....

This is one the few times a year that NBC carries the race coverage on their main channel. here in canada we watch BBC broadcast via TSN. Q for our US friends, are the commentators always talking to the lowest common demnominator / stupid poepl who know next to nothing abut any form of motorsport, least of which, F1?

I tried to watch it via NBC., but after the Boston feed was interrupted for an important weather bulletin for 2 inches of snow I said eff and went back to David Coultard et al on the BBC.
