How can you get that shit out of your hands anyway? It felt like scrubbing it with dawn soap only pushed the particles in farther

 

Best way that i've figured out is either duct tape, or put elmer's glue on the area and let it dry, then peel it off. they say a cold shower helps, but the few times I've had it happen, water doesn't do much at all.

 

Now i just wear mechanix gloves and haven't had issues for a while, however...Thank you Matt

 

Wash hands with COLD water, and try to rinse them off without rubbing your hands together first. Just get most of the dust off under cold running water, then use soap. Hot water opens up your pores and the fiberglass gets in your skin much easier.

To prevent a large majority of the glass from making you itchy, cover your forearms and hands in baby powder before beginning to work with it. It keeps the glass away

 

God a adult leaves you all alone for the night and the amount of pain you all want to cause each others anus astounds me!
