It's tough to play at West Virginia. WVU dominated a good Baylor team in that same stadium and has been playing very well as of late. Plus, Trickett wasn't playing as hot against Bama as he is now.

Also, here's how Dak's stats rank with some former Heisman winners. If he could stop throwing picks and wasn't injured he might start pulling away from Mariota.

This just in: Not having TV sucks! Caught very little football this weekend, and mostly on the Watch ESPN app on my phone. SHITTY way for the Ole Miss/auburn game to end, but I was pulling for the Rebels to lose, so I'm happy with the on-field result. Hate it for Treadwell, though.

I know I've probably missed several pages of commentary on this, but I've got too much sh** going on to go back and read it. WTF happened to Georgia this weekend??? How much longer will UGA put up with Richt's under performing teams?

Will Muschamp stick around now? I wish BenCA was here to opine.

I wouldn't mind that! Gauntlet coming up: A La State, home vs the #1 team in the nation, then the Iron Bowl. I won't count any chickens yet, but if we keep trending this way, I like our shot if we end up being SECW champs.

Not all about salary... MSU needs to step up to compete with the facilities at other schools, or the recruits will go elsewhere. I'd be shocked if he didn't take the FL job if it opened up.

We recently did a renovation to our locker room and athletic facilities and our stadium based on his requests. He has no ties to Florida and Muschamp might be winning it back.

As much as we would all like that tho happen, it wont. The Georgia game might keep him around for another year though

By that logic he's just as likely to go back to Utah.

But you said he has no ties to UF, and having coached there in the past would be a tie to UF

I don't really see that as a tie, honestly. He followed Urban Meyer around, I don't believe he has any major tie to Florida. He didn't go to school there, he's not from the state, he was an assistant coach following his boss/mentor/friend. :notsure:

A connection is a connection. He's already familiar with the university and being in the east he would be able to compete for an SEC championship every season.

    Oh and,

So when does Les head back to Michigan? Or Spurrier to Florida? Those are more likely than Mullen to Florida, IMO. But I guess we'll see.

The rumors are there every time those jobs become available. We're not saying it will happen, just that it's a possibility

Do I have a shot at coaching Utah State then? I won a national title for them the other day on my PS2.

Also, an important note. Nick Saban coached at Toledo. I'm sure he's dying to go back there because he's familiar with that university.

Talking to you about this is like talking to a brick wall. Could happen and will happen are two completely different things. And who the hell still has a PS2?

I gave up on competent conversations a while ago and decided it was easier to be another wall in the maze
