Nice looking truck. Like the Canyon better. Damn shame about whose making both.

I cry everytime I see a mean ass looking Ram, thinking "Now why can't that truck be made by a company that knows what it's doing?". Then I remind myself that no one knows what they're doing anymore and continue on.

Not that it really matters when talking trucks....but I noticed 6.6 0-60mph. That's fucking fast for a V6 truck.

    A pretty lukewarm review.
    Nice idea, poor execution.

Two things at this point remain unknown...
    1) How long term reliability will shake out with the Chevy and...
    2) What the 3nd Gen Tacoma will hold.

But as of right now, looking at the articles and videos, I have to say that the Colorado/Canyon looks to have the Taco beat in quite a number of categories. It's a truck that's a full 10 years newer and it really shows. Now, the fact that a 10 year old truck can even hold a candle to the new one is just downright impressive no matter what. No one can argue that. I really hope the 3rd gen comes out and simply wipes the floor with the competition. Lord knows they've had enough time to work on it. :D

I really like the GMC better too... Saw one today finally and it looked good. It's an all terrain package with a price tag of $36,000

I think this truck would look a lot better without the plastic valence up front and with a level rake and some good tires. Other than that it's pretty much just your average road-going truck... Still think it'd look much better in green... and be an interesting comparison with a DC taco.

Saw a fully loaded Canyon today.

$44,000 Canadian + taxes. I would never spend $4,000 more than a Tacoma limited for a domestic product.

You sound like an idiot right now. Like I said in the previous post, it is unknown how the new colorado will do in longterm reliability since it's only just hit the market. While I agree that historically our Tacomas are bullet proof, you legitimately have no idea how the new Chevy will do. So it's better you simply don't make unwarranted assumptions with no facts to back them up. ;)

Hoping the best for GM, they need a win economically speaking.
Market competition would be a very good thing for Tacoma owners now and in the future.

I think any time KenLyns posts in a forum, the header should be changed to NSFW.

Definitely don't want to be reading any of his posts when a co-worker or boss walks by at work.
