Effing Firestone. The location I went to a few weeks back wouldn't even touch my truck. The alignment tech said he can't override the OEM specs from the computer. Then he said because my truck has aftermarket parts he cant align it. I went off on him and told him any competent tech could do an alignment.

I went to NTB (thanks Nathan) and they took care of it and allowed me to purchase the 3 year warranty. Just went back yesterday cause I adjusted my coilovers. No problems and the truck drives strait as an arrow.

 

i have been really wanting to build one for adding to a bike or a go-kart, but finding the info about them seems pretty slim, there are plenty of blue prints but i would like to know the math behind designing one.

The one next to downtown asked why I wanted to hit the numbers and told them because it's my truck, my tires, my money, my preference. They got it right the first time. But, I had no problem having them do it again if it wasn't good. Thanks lifetime alignment!

 

What happened?

 

I'm not a fan of that particular NTB. For a while they would try to get close to my numbers, but that went downhill. They started saying that it was within spec and wouldn't attempt to get the numbers I wanted.

Now the NTB on Richmond at 610 gets my numbers every single time and doesn't question why.

Sorry, I meant the Firestone next to downtown (Houston & Washington). Not NTB.

 

I see. I've only been to that firestone once, but they did good work for me. Took them my shocks when I was adding the trim packer. They didn't have a problem working on them.

NTB downtown wouldn't touch them though, even after I had called and confirmed they would do the job.
