    That image would require a good amount of modifying. You can't cut out complete shapes or letters without losing the entire inside details.
    Look at the way he cuts out his O in SOS. The inner part of the O needs to be supported somehow. That type of support would have to take place in many parts of that design.

    Yes that would definitely work, just can't have continous closed shapes or letters. The inner part of the design would work as is although I would widen the gaps for strength. The circles and certain letters would need to be modified.

    I believe Billy at Brute Force Fabrication got a letter from Toyota about his cutouts of TRD in the bumper. Some kind of copyright thing IIRC, been a while back though.

    well from what I understand you draw something up in Autocad, export it as a supported file format machines can use (such as .dxf) idk, I was in robotics and we would design things in CAD and have stuff 3-D printed and some stuff was machined using a 3-axis CNC or a laser cutter (for 2-D plastic parts), we also had a very experienced machinest running the shop as well so we just gave him the files, idk what goes on as far as going from file to part :notsure:
