My toytec aal has held up well. The factory springs were already 9 yrs old before I installed them.

Your truck is to nice to install anything "daystar" on it.

 

I'd like to preserve the ride when not carrying a load, but be able to not have my ass-end sag down when carrying 800-900 lbs of motorcycles and gear in the back.

I'd go the Daystar cradle route too and will probably go 5100's all around and AAL's to keep things cheap.

 

All pro expos if you are carrying that much eqpt all the time.
Or dakars with the aal. Not a fan of bags but jmo.

I got them as a fast fix after changing out coils and plate bumpers. Had to lift the rear. Now I'm ready to get Dakars.

Well. That was a pretty painless evening/morning.
However I see rotator cuff surgery in my future. Same side as my hip. Guess I never noticed it that much because of the hip pain. Hit it pretty hard on landing I remember and its been bothering me to sleep on that side. It's not painfull, just annoying.

Ahhh.....old age. Gotta love it!!!!

Damn dude. Hope ya get some good sleep. I have an old man bed. It's adjustable. I've had it for yrs seems to help my back. Kinda like a big ass recliner

They are kind of frowned upon on the forums. I suppose they have there place.
Like airbags. They are usefull to people that occasionally haul stuff and want to retain a level vehicle. I wouldn't recommend them as a "lift/leveling" kit. But they do serve a purpose on the market.

 

Thx! I think I'm going to make it. The only thing that really scares me is twisting when I take measurements. I have to slow down and think what my next move is before I make it. Still have a full 4 months till its completely healed.

Just checking in on my 2 day break. Tried to stay up yesterday, but crashed mid-afternoon. Wide awake now of course. Think I'll read some more. Crew is about to launch on the 3 Aug mission in "Our Gal."

 

X2 good advice. Just remember your using muscles you haven't used in 6mos. Some soreness is to be expected.
