Please be careful who you let work on your truck for two reasons. First, the people who work at those quick lube places are untrained high school drop outs making minimum wage. We often get the vehicles that they screw up working on them. And often times the quick lube refuses to pay for the repairs. Secondly, you need to be careful what kind of fluid they will use. Most of those places use "universal" trans fluid that can cause shifting problems. If you don't have the money to have it done properly right now, wait a month or two until you do. find a real repair shop with qualified people working there. just google repair shops in your area and read the reviews.

I would say so. The 2 head mechanics there are 2nd generation mechanics who's dad open the shop back in the 60's. We've got 2-3 big-name places here in Jackson, but everyone uses Stananco because they're a small business who've been here for years. I trust them with my truck and I baby the hell out of my truck. Generally, I try to do most of the work myself, but I do go to them for my trans flushes and have never had any issues with them at all

Man I know it's sometimes scary to tear your truck apart to work on it but YouTube videos are your friend when your working on something.

And always buy the expensive belts I've bought the cheapest ones and they stretched out so much in 6 months I had to put new ones on.

    Eric,

Depending on when the baby is born (due the 22nd) I'll possibly be down for a beer. I'll let you know. Do you still have the same # or did you change numbers to a CO #?
