K&N Cold Air Intake, Rough Country 3in Suspension Lift
    Hey guys,
I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and I have a 3in suspension lift on it. I want to put bigger tires in it but I don't know what size would look good in it. I dong mind of it rubs a little either! I would like Nitto's and my friend said I could fit 33's and it would be fine. Would that work?

3in ready lift 285/75r16 toyo open country mt
i just bought a 2015 and put a 3in lift on it and i bought 285 75 16 toyo open country. it rubbed a little on the front mud flaps so i trimmed a little of the mud flaps and now it does not rub at all. i personally think that 285's fill the truck out with a 3 in lift. most people will agree. here is my truck. 285 75 16 is a 32.8 overall diameter so its pretty much a 33. if you get his size tire, you will have to get wheel spacers so the tires won't rub on the upper control arms. i got spidertrax 1.25(set of 4 for 180).

I've got 3 in lift and 33 nitto trail grapplers. Its actually a true 33. Some of the others are 32.8 which I guess make a big difference as far as rubbing goes. I had to do a decent amount of trimming including the cab mount. It actually rubbed tonight as I pulled into the driveway. Looks like I'll be trimming again.

i thought mine would rub a lot more than they did. the wheel spacers help a lot. my tires are not where close enough to have to do a cab mount chop. what are the width of your tires? thats the true factor with the rubbing issue
