haha, yeah I will get some pics of this magical cake I never even knew existed.

Had to get a spring form pan.. ? Some kind of designated cheesecake pan. BUT, that means we can make all the cheesecakes we want! :D

I'll get some pics when we start making it and the final product.

This is the recipe we will be going off of:

    http://www.recipegirl.com/2011/11/28/red-velvet-cheesecake-cake/

Takes a long time to make it because of the cheesecake. Then have to freeze it before sandwich time.

Not sure we will do the flakes on top... My wife wants to write something on it instead I think.

    :) Thanks guys.

We will start on the cake the day before we know she will be coming home. So should be sometime this week. ;)

If for whatever reason the homemade one does not work out (or you just want 2 cakes), let me know. It will be my treat on the Cheesecake Factory one. ;)

    Thanks guys!

Just found out she gets to come home on Friday. So we will probably start the cheesecake part tomorrow. Then the red velvet Thursday and put it all together.

We appreciate the offer. Hopefully it all works out for the home made!

That's only $45 a piece. Less than a tank of gas. Let us know, you're covered.

Edit... Just went to check the order status and now it shows 4-7 days for shipping and $20 for shipping and ships day after ordering... bleh

Greatly appreciate the offer, but looks like would not be here in time and even more expensive than thought. Wish us luck with our home made one! :)

You are all freakin great though!

+1 million to that! Greatest group of people I have never met! That says a lot. The amount of support and help you have all given my family is astonishing for someone you have never met before. People like you restore faith in humanity. Makes ME want to be a better person myself and try to help others when I can. Cant thank you all enough. (But I'll try) ;)

Just saying...I've spent a lot more at the bar after work on a bad day. At least this won't amount to a hangover tomorrow. Let me know if you change your mind.
