The skiddier the mark, the more dominant one becomes, but only on the 2nd Tuesday of each month when the big hand meets the little. (Time zones need not be specified.)

Ha! I used to workout at home till I broke up with my ex GF years ago. She moved out and I needed a change of environment.

Competed once and that was enough. Kudos to the guys that can diet for 12 weeks. Some of my friends I competed with are still chasing their pro cards.

Maxed out 275 on the bench today. Last time I maxed was like 5 month ago. I decided to max on my 4th set lol. I am confident that I could come close to 300 if I was more fresh.

Tried a new bench routine today. Take your supposed max then...

    Subtract 105 x10
    Add 30 x5
    Add 20 x3
    Add 20 x2
Add 35 (Back to your max) x1
    Subtract 35 x3-5
    Subtract 35 x6-10
    Subtract 35 x10-15

If you get your 1RM, add another 10 lbs to those numbers next week and do it again. Gonna try it for about a month and see what happens. I dn't really know what my max is. I went off of 280 because it made the numbers easier to change out (175, 205, 225...etc etc...)

I broke through the 300lb barrier by doing mini lifts off the uprights (just straight off uprights and back on 5-6 times) with 350-450lbs. I was doing multiple reps at 275, and knew I was mentally getting freaked out by the feel of 300 coming off the uprights, so the little reps, made me more confident of controlling the weight. That was 25 years ago, however, before my joints and tendons decided to rebel against me.
