Looking forward to it. I will have some pics up by this time next week at the latest of my setup integrating a heretic studio light bar as well. Should give people some good ideas of what can be done.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Rack showed up yesterday and I got it opened up today. I am very impressed with the quality of the parts! Scott makes a seriously nice rack! I am so glad I went this route. Thanks Zack, I'll get you some pictures once it's mounted up with the 50".

Zach, I'm liking the redesigned website. I have an install question: Do you cut the rubber strip on the roof to cain access to the holes for the rack or do you remove the strip. I keep looking at pictures and I haven't been able to figure that out.

You can remove it completely. Cut it into sections and glue them into place between the standoffs or punch holes in the strips for the standoffs to pass through.

I like option 3. I've never had a rack on the truck.

Option 2 and 3 are both clean solutions. Punching holes is probably the cleanest. but the strips are only about 1.25 inches wide and the standoffs are 3/4" diameter so you don't save much of the strip by punching a hole vs. cutting out a section.

I need to find a parts sheet for all of that. I didn't know there was a metal strip. I just thought the holes were hidden under the rubber.

    Here goes....

Full Picture Gallery is on our website under recent news. Here are some teasers.

    Disclaimers:

    1. LIGHT BAR INTEGRATION - This is only ONE of MANY ways this integration can occur. I chose this method based on my liking and needs. Yes, the cutout can be on the bottom and the light bar down closer to the roof (I measured). Yes, you can use a larger light bar (Shown is a 30" Heretic Studios). I chose to put the light bar up higher and further back to eliminate the risk of having glare off the hood (Achieved). I also chose a 30" bar because a 40" or 50" is overkill for my needs. I don't desert race or do multi continent expeditions. I do drive into camp in some remote places after dark and extra light is helpful. I am willing to work with anyone on a light bar setup who is interested. I would prefer to work with Heretic Studios Light Bar Products because they have awesome products and are local and build each bar to order. This allows me to be involved in the process from the get go and will ensure a better outcome. That being said, if you don't want their stuff or already have lights I am not married to them.

    2. NEW PRODUCTS - The orange on the traction ramp mounts, basket conversion kit, and cargo plate is experimental. Not sure how we feel about it yet. Once we get decals on the truck we will have a better idea of whether or not The new parts can be purchased bare metal or in any color you want. Prices will be up by the end of the weekend. Some minor changes will be made based on some testing we have been doing but these are pretty well how they will stay.

    3. SIDE PLATES and DEFLECTOR - You will notice that there are small differences on the side plates compared to the standard model. Since it was my personal rack I wanted to try something a little different. Some parts I like, some parts I don't. I won't be selling this model of side plates unless someone is really interested and wants to pay a custom charge. The length, clearances, and mounting tabs are all the same as the standard, these just have a more rigid geometry compared to the nice curves on the others. I also didn't do slots for adjustable bars since I pretty much know the number and location of crossbars I need and use. The light bar integration will work the same on the standard model and look nearly identical from the front. If you want something custom, talk to me, but know it will be more expensive.
