I saw that you drilled out your Chrome pieces to let more light show. Was it just the chrome piece, then a hole that went to the LED?

Because mine was the chrome piece with a clear (kind of Hershey's Kiss size and shape) plastic piece that the light hits and it magnifies the light.

Yeah, now I want a 3D lens one. And he posted where a page back or 2.

I think the 3D lens ones are brighter and better

All that shows is the very tip of the Hershey's Kiss shaped plastic piece. Hope the quality is ok.

I bought it from a woman on Instagram. Her name is Amy, she has a company in china and they have a ton of different light bars for cheap. She said they only sell them in bulk of 5 or more but i told her i can't and she said no problem. I got this 50" Radius Bar with 3D Optics and a strobe harness for $300 shipped. Took like a week to get here. I paid through Paypal so if you don't like the product or its not what you thought, Paypal will refund your money. I reached her through the app Kik. She's very quick to respond but just remember the time difference. She has broken english so i was a little skeptical at first, thinking i might get scammed. But, it all worked out and i couldn't be more happy.

    Her info is:

I might've screwed up some LEDs in my lightbar also while fooling around with different ideas for the backlighting and also mine is way cheaply made, so some of the tiny screws that go through long metal bars over front glass stripped out.

Oh that sucks man!! Yeah the place i got mine seems to be pretty cool. Looks a little sketchy but its legit.

And yes we all know that Cree and all other china made light bars are not the best out there (brightness wise and durability) but i'm perfectly fine with paying $300 for the bar i got rather than the $1600 the same design light from Rigid Industries. (IMO Rigid Industry is THE best you can buy)

They all get their boards and LEDs from the same place.. China. Just assembled in the US. Their optics are better tho for sure. That's where they have spent most of their time in R&D.

    CREE is solid.

I definitely need to look more closely at mine and see how the optics are and how they will allow the light from the RGB strips.
