    Seems to be rubbing the pinch weld and the portion of fender right there.

    Well, when you did your cab mount chop you didn't fold over the pinch weld I take it? Who did the chop? I paid DMZ for my chop and a little extra to massage my pinch weld back hehe.

    As for fender rubbing, the only thing you can do is either cut fenders, replace with fiberglass, or add washers to your bump stop.

    Wait, do you still have mud flaps up front? those will rub at the drop of a hat

    No, Mud flaps been gone. I had SickNick do my cab mount chop. I didnt have him the the pinch wells at the time. Ill have to bend those in and see if it helps out I think that is where the majority of the rubbing is happening.

    Yea probably the pinch welds rubbing and cutting your tires. And frame rub at full lock? what spacers ate you running? I'm on 285/75/16 and only my cab mount rubs on the drivers side when I'm backing up with wheels turned full lock left lol

    I don't think its rubbing frame much if at all, Just the pinch welds. 1.25" spacers i think. Before it was only in reverse when it would happen at full lock but now when im going into parking lots half lock it rubs. Fucking annoying lol

    Yea, massage that pinch weld a bit and see where you stand then. You might try smaller spacers? The maxtracs will push out your tires by 3/4", so try minimum spacer size needed to clear your rims from the spindle...more spacer equals more arc of tire turning.

    I think you need a minimum 4.75 backspacing for the spindles? So stock rims you might need some spacers to clear them.

    and how much is that, how does it affect my truck, and would that create any rubbing. I would prob run 255/85/16 tires, or would that look retarted?

    uhhhh ok a set of spidertrax is about $100 or so give or take 20$. I've been rocking them for a good 30k miles and haven't had any problems...annndd yea it might create rubbing with those tall tires....get a cab mount chop and take off your front mud flaps and you'll be fine.


    And maybe some massaging of your pinch weld.

    and retarDed or not is in the eye of the beholder.

    Oh and with stock fenders you might have to do some cutting into them, because the spider trax and spindles will bump your tires out some more and then you'll be bouncing off your fenders

    haha no, maybe a little bit more finesse than that. It all just depends what you plan on doing with your truck.

    if this is for mainly street use, you'll probably be fine with just spacers and maybe a cab mount chop, which youd need getting bigger tires anyways. what you can do instead is to just pick up some cheapo rims that have at least a 4.75 backspacing and not have to deal with spacers.

    While spacers are pretty solid, and i'd say like 99.99% of people run them with no problems, it IS one extra point of failure...so when you're adding all this crap to your truck you just have to take that into account,

    I'm on 285/75/16((33's), Maxtracs with spidertrax 1.25" spacers, and I had to remove mud flaps ((you have to do that regardless or you rub with anything other than stock stuff)), get a cab mount chop...and have my pinch weld flattened or 'massaged' . And I STILL rub in reverse at full left lock. It's just something you deal with :D

    my whole budget for lift and tires is about 1,600 next semester.... and I have a 4in block for the rear...

    Just don't turn the wheel all the way when you back up. Mine does it, and it does not bother me at all.

    Stock rims won't work without spacers, they have too much backspacing.

    16in rim max BS 4.5in
    17in rim max BS 4.75in

    If you need to go as cheap as possible, buy the spindle and a 1.5in or 2in aal, you will sit level with that.

    I spent around 2200 with spindle, rims, tires, aal, and install.

    Let me know if you have anymore questions, you seem to be in a similar situation as I was. Clueless and looking for the cheapest route.
