2014 NCAA Football Thread

Lately, the one that wins the West wins the SEC, then goes on to win the national championship (or lose a close game...... auburn).

 

Yes, but my point still stands that it's a possibility.

 

With the exception of 2011 when two SEC teams met in the national championship, I'd say that I've invalidated your point pretty well. ND, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio State (twice) might all say that the SEC team they played was pretty tough.

 

How do we know the days of SEC dominance hasn't ended? I mean they lost in the championship last year to a low life ACC team and this year two of the worse teams in the west have ascended to the top.

Edit: And they lost to the big 12 last year in a BCS game.

 

Now THAT'S a decent way to make the point. We'll see in the playoffs when the SEC champ gets a shot at one or two teams. FSU is the one non-bullshit team in the ACC. I'll give them that much.

 

Oh I'm excited. Gonna be a fun bowl season.

 

Yeah, but FSU would most likely not even have a winning record if they played in the SEC West.

 

Oh I'm sure we would as long as we got to schedule games like Lamar, Presbyterian, UT Martin, Nichols state, Louisiana tech, and such...

 

Alabama is playing Eastern Carolina coming up.

But first we're playing #16 La State, then #1 MSU, and afterwards we play #3 auburn.

So there's that...

 

Y'all have Louisville, Clemson, Notre Dame, NC State, and Miami. Seems equal to me.

 

Y'all also played FAU and Southern Miss at the beginning of the season...

 

One of those night say y'all got lucky.

We did shut out a number 21 or so at the time while managing to put up 59 points of our own and knock a potential heisman candidate qb out of the running and out of a position. I didnt see that mentioned either.

 

Lol. Quit trying to pretend like TAMU was a quality win.
