Just like all GM trucks though, the front bumper hangs so low that i'd have go offroad the piss out of it right away in a desperate attempt to have the front bumper magically rip off to save the word from the hideous appearance of "GM truck low bumper hang"

A spacer leveling kit usually fixes the issue almost entirely...

    Bull shit
The 6.7L ford has 800 FT-LB's of torque and 400 HP.
A 4cyl twin turbo could easily have 200 HP and 350 Ft-Lb's of torque, plenty for the 2nd gen tacoma

Our F-250 has turbo lag until 2K RPM, then it hits boost and will snap your neck getting to 60.

True, I don't see what it matters, unless you are involved in illegal affairs.
I feel a v8 would be good for reliability and also things you would use a truck for
Would be cool and neat, not really practical it seems, more intricacies in the motor = more to go wrong

A 6.7 is not a small diesel engine and I was thinking a single turbo and they wouldnt give it much balls because if they did diesel it would be for uber mpg not towing or anything else

I've never driven one. I just know that the Colorado is supposed to get 200hp out of the 2.8L turbo diesel

True, seems a diesel would be geared to the mpg conscientious, not people seeking out mad power. Just give us the 4.6l v8 out of the Tundra.

On a side note, could you take the v8 out of a 4runner and put it in a Tacoma? I don't think I've ever seen that done

Yeah, but if you cut a 6.7 in half you get half the performance (In theory) and You can build an engine to hold more power than the stock ford.

The power gives economy, and towing.

Maybe it will have some but honestly I think it will be bogged down for mpg like the jetta TDI and all other small diesel engines seem to br
I wouldn't mind seeing a compact truck come back Especially if it had a v8

But even cutting it in half would give it more size than they will the Colorado is what a 2.8? I could see the yota IF it gets one being even less maybe a 2.5
Look at 1st gen builds for comatized or something like that he had a 4.7L tundra engine in his tacoma

The same build done to the standard 3.6L v6 that they did for the Cadillac ATS coupe.

    3.6L twin turbos 420hp

Not sure if they still offer it. For the 06 4runner (5th gen? Idk) it was an option. I know because ours has the v6. Haha

Edit: guess they stopped it in 09. My Internet connection is too slow in my room for me to keep up!
