    Not always. You've gotta feed the horses if you want them to run.

    More are, more fuel, bigger chamber = more combustion and more fuel use

    They have to be smarter about how they make the power. Thats part of why turbos and alt fuels are becoming so popular

    V4 wouldn't be that big, but it doesn't have to be that big.
    It's fairly easy to tune a diesel to make good power from small displacement, especially when it has boost.

    To a point, and most manufacturers are no where near that point.
    The efficiency of my truck would increase by probably 20% if it had a 4.0 in it, only because my truck is so underpowered I have to run it at over half throttle to do anything besides cruise on flat.
    My efficiency would likely increase until I got into the midsize V8 range (5 liter or bigger).

    Or you could just run more exhaust gasses in the mix and not use as much fuel when you don't need more power.

    Yet the 2.7L 4cly gets better gas than you...the 4.0 is also newer and will always get better mpg for its size than ours

    The old ones I feel like I always floor it to drive it like I do my truck maybe the new ones are better? And fuck the 1st gear there is no turbo spooled up and it sucks
