    Lol, you have your one lightbar, so one LED strip of rgbs and the better controller won't set you back too far, link what controller you buy pleez

    I don't know if I'd do this to a rigid. Unless it's second hand and they don't offer warranty second hand? I don't know. I'd imagine any kind of disassembly to any lights though, no matter what brand, would void warranties.

    Might have to give this a try on my 40" chinese brand.. However it looks like the new 3D optic bars look better with this mod. Still cool though. Kudos to the originator!

    Yeah, it would most likely void Rigid's warranty. If you do, make sure you reseal your light bar very good.

    IMO I wouldn't do it to a Rigid Bar. Like the guys said, it'll void the warranty and you don't want to risk ruining it because they're so damn expensive!!:eek::boom:

    But honestly, if money isn't the biggest issue, I would totally do it. Just be super careful!!

    Nice, yeah if mine was cree and worked perfect, I wouldn't even consider getting a new lightbar. But its epistar, cheapy poopy. Some screws stripped too easy and the LEDs might've been screwed up so I may be getting another.

    Just so you guys know, 5050 LED's are NOT the brightest in strip form. BUT, they are the brightest RGB LED light. I bough a strip of 5630 LED's a few months ago and it is definitely brighter than 5050 LED's.
    But for the purposes of this mod, I don't see anybody offering that size LED in RGB though... at least not yet.

    EDIT: Just went back to the first page and read that you guys already discussed this. My bad. I got excited and started jumping around pages.

    I plan on doing this with my future 30" LED bar.
    I'm just undecided on which LED bar to get!! argghhh!!
    Vivid, the one that Kevin got with 3d optics, OKLED...

    I'll have to get one, but either just around the side under one of the metal heat sink/dissipators or drill a hole through the end of the bars cap and then silicone it real good

    its ok.. i got ahead and started replying to say this.. lol

    I wish they offered 5630 RGB.. thats my dilemma.. i have 64 feet of 5630 white.. for rock lights and misc lighting.. and they are bright as shit.. but i want RGB.. :pout: worried the white on the 5050 RGB wont be bright enough for rock lights

    I need some white 5630 LEDs. Bed lights and maybe extra dome lights. Actually just had the thought for rgb led strips in the cab near ceiling. Need more strips now...
