Stolen 2010 dcsb super white from Hardrock casino garage

Im at SEMA for the week and Bastards got into my room last night WHILE I WAS SLEEPING and stole my briefcase. Keys were in there and they took the truck at 3:40 am.

Filing a police report now but man do I feel violated. Keep an eye out. Had a bunch of goodies on it so craigslist might have some parts up soon if they dont locate it.




Some other helpful details:
Has sprayed on bedliner for bumpers rock sliders and also the bed itself has been sprayed

That's fucked up brother. I had my 4runner and my wifes accord stolen here. I hate to say it, but stolen cars aren't on the cops radar here.

 

It might have been, OP just said they got in while he was sleeping. Those electronic locks can be tricked with the right piece of technology.

 

Still sounds like the OP needs to tighten up his SOP. use the backup door hinge lock at all times. Shitty situation though....

I'd have the cops look at the camera footage....sounds like an inside job...fucking scumbags....you can't fart in this town without being on camera.

 

Crazy, some of you guys are deep sleepers, or perhaps Op was passed out? I get up generally at the slightest sounds (have kids & wife so I'm always alert) you can bet anyone walking in my room or home will be met with me advancing on them with my Sig 40.

Op, sucks you lost your truck, those can be replaced. Sounds like the situation could have been worse.

 

A lot of hotels are getting rid of the hinge lock in favor of a deadbolt built into the same framing as the main lock. Anyways the point is if I locked my doors locked and I left my briefcase in the room I'd be pretty sure my truck is safe. OP is lucky he didn't get stabbed, raped or something worse!

 

Yea guys i f-ed up by not throwing the deadbolt. I normally do it. I dont have any recent photos but my profile should have some older ones when I put the wheels on. Its got a sprayed all pro Apex bumper and cali plates. Reflective b&w us flag stickers on the driver and pax doors. Never thought it would come to this! Its a 6 speed too so he thief knew how to drive stick.

 

There has to be more to this. There are cameras on the cameras at the HRock. Should have footage from alleged criminal/s entering the building to leaving garage.

Like has already been said.....

I find it incredibly difficult to believe that someone could get into and out of a room, to the parking garage, and out of it with your truck without being on camera at least a dozen times. At a regular hotel, maybe. At a casino....not a chance.

 

I would guess the truck will not be seen again in one piece. For a criminal to enter a random room in Las Vegas is a huge risk for them....big balls on their part not knowing who or what is on the inside.
This borderline doesn't sound like a random hit as I doubt they went from room to room checking doors knowing security cams are eye fucking their every move.
I will say, be thankful that you are healthy and did not get injured. If they did in fact randomly break into your room, chance are they were ready to injure/kill any occupant resistance based on the risk for them.

Yeah they are piecing together details. They do have the truck on video leaving the garage at 3:40 am. Crazy thing is that i wasn't drunk and I had been chillin in my room by myself from 8:30 pm to midnight when I went to sleep. Absolutely could have been worse.

I had my house keys on my ring and so my biggest worry is they have my address and keys. Already called the locksmith and told my wife to keep the glock 22 nearby with one in the chamber. Its quite a drive from LV to San Diego but you never know.... It never hurts to be prepared.

I have done the exact same thing. Had my window popped once and had $500 worth of knives taken out of my glovebox, fiancés bag and it was uncomfortable knowing someone shady has been in my stuff and has my address and knows I'm parked where they broke into my car and will be busy with police whenever I get back to it. They didn't have my keys, either. Never be too cautious when anybody thief has access to your home and your wife is alone.
