I don't know what you do out in Glamis but I ride........and I ride hard.I could give a fuck what anybody else is doing as long as i'm riding those beautiful dunes. The group of 30-40 people I go with are all riders and not wannabes.

Then you hang around the wrong crowd, cause I go to the dunes pretty often and its not like all of that in the video was happening on the same day in the same place. A few people acting like idiots doesn't make the whole scene and everyone who goes there bad people. The video didn't show anyone crashing or getting hurt or drinking and hopping on a bike, unless I missed any of that.
The group I go with goes to ride and we ride all day long, we are not a party crowd and do not partake in any antics. We are very safe and responsible riders and respect our dunes.
We have too much $$ invested in the sport to not respect it and enjoy every moment of it responsibly.

Sounds like someone who rides dirt and couldn't hang in the sand to me ;)

im from the south east and rode/raced almost all types, but would like to try to hit up glamis or some dunes to see what the hype is about. to me it looked like it would get boring after a little bit, almost like riding in a open field.

Dune riding is a lot harder than it looks and is very technical. I get bored on trails or desert riding, the same dune area is different every time you go, the dunes are always changing and moving. After the off season the razors are super steep and super sharp, there are some deadly drop offs and witches eyes that develop. ;)

We're out at Dumont all the time in the winter. Check out Dumontduneriders.com for some local dumont riders. :D

Yea Glamis is badass. Tends to get a bad rap though. Just avoid Holiday weekends and your good. Although Holiday weekends are the best, because that's when all the big dogs come out with their flashy rides.

Yeah. We dont go on holidays. To many amatures. The friends we go with all take some time off before the weekend, so we get a nice 3 days out there. The last couple of times I went out, werent so good. Buddy broke his leg on his quad when he fell off in the air, the time before that, I broke an axel on the sand rail I borrowed from a friend. Not sure if were gonna go this year or not.

Yea the group i go with are friends who have families, so it's a really relaxed atmosphere. No one is looking to do "DUMB" when we go there. Last time i went i rolled my quad coming over a razorback. Broke my whip and my plastics go tweaked. Easy fixes though.

WWWHHHAAATTT....Chris breaking stuff? That must have been the "REAL" Chris, Haha! I'm sure you had one of your clones fix it up right away.

LOL!! Actually have no idea why the axel broke. We think it was weak from something else. Sucks, as we didnt have a spare, so we had to flat bed it back to Phoenix.
