Tacoma Picture Challenge 2014

Does said skid plate have to be attached to your vehicle, or can you be literally dragging it? (like, behind you, on a chain)

 

I think i'd rather see a skid plate that is bolted to your truck being utilized

Ok, I'll make sure instead of using hooks on the chain I put a bolt through the links...

 

If you bolted the chain to your truck, and then bolted the chain to the plate, technically it'd be bolted to your truck.

 

You both know what i mean.

 

Ok, serious question then. Are rock sliders considered a skid plate for this challenge? They do have skid in their name.

ok, I should start drinking skid =/= slide. It sounded good in my head though.

 

I thought about expanding the challenge to rock sliders and/ skid plate but then i figured, shit....thats another challenge in itself

If brady wants to put another challenge on up there,

I went with skid plate first because more people have skid plates than rock sliders

I only drink to celebrate ice. Without it my beer would have to sit in a fridge.

For the next challenge I want to bring out the inner sarcastic a-hole it appears a few of us have. Pick any existing challenge and do it in a way that "literally" fits the challenge, but is not what was thought of/would be normally accepted. Preferably with your tacoma/rig and bring something else into it. I want it to be to the point that it can't win the challenge it's mocking. A good description for this thread is mock an existing challenge.

example: "rig dragging a skid plate," hook up a skid plate from something, or something with a skid plate and drag it behind your rig. (can't do this since not existing anymore )

Good point. The scantily clad girls in the bed should be of limits. That could get ugly quick...
