What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Booked an appointment today to get me some rust protection (wax spray). Winter's coming... gotta protect my new baby.

 

Finally purchased and received all new speakers. Also looking at doing the interior LED Mods next.

 

You had to be on them in the '70s ... I was a tender puke ... inspected the reactor on the Lost and Confused.

My base 4x4 didn't come with a backup camera, thanks to camerasource and a few minutes it does now

 

Installed my Sockmonkey designed Retro Stripes from user CBoy808. Layed them out a couple different ways before going rouge and flipping left/right. Installed in the rain after a quick hood-only wash.

Me also. Going to buy another set hoping I succeed. At that point only I will remove and replace mine and sell them.
With my luck I would only have a "daytime" truck for a month.

I used a rustoleum automotive primer but I forget the exact name. About 3 coats of that primer. Dries quickly and I sanded with 400 and 600 grit sand paper in between. I've had them like that for about 2 months and it's held up perfectly

 

I ordered the supercharger and TRD exhaust when I bought the truck and made a deal as a package. The charger, fit kit and exhaust installed was $5900. I was a little concerned about the noise from the SC before i got it. I had listened to some video. I didn't want anything too obnoxious or distracting. My worries were unfounded though. It really only makes any noise when you get on it, and that's ok ( in fact it's addictive).

Yes I am an old fart!

I was on the USS Holland in Charleston from 1983 - 1985. W4 Division Missile Handling Shop LPO.

 

I know a few of you guys have put LEDs in for the dome, map, license plate and reverse lights. Just wondering what you guys have used, where you got them and what you think of them?
