    I agree, what is with the high quotes? I paid 800 dollars cdn and had it installed up in bc, where things are usually much more expensive....

    A lot of dealers don't do these things very often and add a few hours on to the install in there quotes. I know Lethbridge Toyota tried to sell me a S/C for the same price as the installed one at Cochrane Toyota, but Lethbridge wanted another $1900 to install it too :eek:.

    Lethbridge told me it was a two day job that would require there shop foreman and another tech to complete correctly...

    LOL any competent tech should do it with ease. Doesn't require two people. Nothing like milking the customer of all of their money :rolleyes: I would run from that stealership and never bring my business to them.

    I'm not going to thread jack, but in short Lethbridge Toyota has no idea what they are doing when it comes to there shop. I've had multiple issues with them from tools, bottles, and rags left under the hood to poor quality workmanship on warranty repairs. It took them 4 tries to reseal my windshield and at the end the manager tried to act like it was my fault the thing wasn't done right in the first place!

    Took my truck in this morning. They might have gotten started on it this afternoon. They will work half a day tomorrow, then the ToyoTech will be in certified training next week from Monday to Wednesday. :(

    But, the good news is my tech said he will install the S/C as if it was his own, meaning he has showed a lot of interest in my truck since we installed the BAJA suspension about a month ago. I expect to pick it up next Friday, if all goes well.
