First wreck in my baby back in May :( Got it fixed up pretty decent, though.

Removing the bumper in preparation for plate bumper. Pretty sure I'm going to go with Fab Fours

Damn good looking truck! Im new to this whole truck build thing but your truck is amost exactly how i want mine! Im looking into the Icon Stage 1. Did you have to do a diff drop with that kit? I really dig that clean offroad look with the toyos and methods.

Thanks. No diff drop needed. It only raises the front by 1" or so, just enough to level it out. Need to get the new bumper pics posted.

YES! I did. They ended up doing a rebuild for free. Crossing fingers this time it doesn't do it again so soon, although I have to say I'm super stoked Icon took care of me like that. Great customer service.

lovin' the truck man... looking on pulling the trigger on a similar set up, been shopping around...

if you dont mind me asking, where did you find the kit at that price? havent found anywhere that retails it anywhere close to what you paid.

hows the ride on road? some people seem to complain about harshness on road with the setup, seeing as this is my daily that is a pretty big concern.

    thanks!!

    I got mine here:

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-8...a-tacoma-6-lug-05-current-stage-1-system.html

As far as pricing, you have to consider that this was almost 3 years ago (prices will have changed since then), plus at the time you had to specifically ask for the Tacomaworld discount. I have no idea if they are still doing that. Regardless I think they are worth it.

As far as harshness, I think that's going to be subjective and a personal preference type of thing. I actually prefer a firmer setup on the road for better handling. Too soft and it feels like the truck rolls/wallows too easily in the turns. The beauty of the digressive valving is that it "opens up" when it needs to, when things get rough.

good point, sometimes you lose track of the fact that you're digging through the tacomaworld crates.

appreciate the input... are you still running the same set up? hows it holding up

See my post farther up this page. The right rear started leaking around 20k miles. I was really bummed, but Icon took care of it. I hope they last much longer this time before needing rebuild but glad to see they'll take care of you if needed. Overall I'm still really satisfied.

Super clean build! Sorry to hear about the Icon's. I'm running their rear AAL which does the job but in my dealings with them so far I'm not very impressed.
