It's a good example of why shotguns are so popular with survivalists, though. Real ones, not the AR15-and-ammo collecting, castle-building idiots that you see on TV. Shotguns are versatile. And as long as you've got powder and primers you can reload them with whatever you can find, as long as it won't destroy the barrel. I have a book on civil defense from WWII that talks about reloading using 'alternate materials' in case of a German invasion, and it's got instructions on using everything from clipped pieces of copper electrical wire to melting down lead flashing (not really that common of an item anymore, but you could always use wheel weights instead) to cast into slugs. It even talks about how to make your own gunpowder from chicken manure (as if people on the run from the Germans would be hauling flocks of chickens around with them )

I saw that video a while back, not sure I'd have the balls to try it though... I'd be afraid of messing something up. I'll just stick to slugs if I want to effectively blow holes in things

Some woman who caused an accident and seriously injured herself is suing myself and my store owner/boss.

Late in the day yesterday someone got run over by a truck out back. He was taken out by ambulance and brought to RI Hospital. He was discharged at 6 oclock and is back to work today. Pretty Wild

If it's ongoing litigation I would definitely recommend that you refrain from elaborating any further.
It can prove...problematic.

Don't get into a brawl with him, then. Sounds like he has a high pain tolerance.
I took a tree limb to the had at high velocity a few years back that cracked the bone in my forehead. I at least had the good sense to take the next day off.

Edit: The fact that I was seeing two of everything that next morning had nothing to do with my decision
