I think I'm bringing a case of Struab (PA beer FTW), a few bottles of Rev (only sold in canada...had someone smuggle it across the border :spy:...vodka and guarana drink thats pretty damn good but fucks you up really fast) and a fifth of Maker's Mark.

I think that should be enough for me for a weekend

I've never blacked out while drinking beer, plenty of times while drinking liquor.

Why for? I lived on the 3rd floor of Abram's Hall right before they kicked all the permanent party off post and gave the on post barracks to the broke dicks. I was there for a military school and my class had to move off post a couple months in. I PCSed before I had to move but that's a different story.

Apparently back in the day there was a shoot out between that front gate guards and some drunk asshats at a bar down the street. Now the gate guards have a 12 gauge.

In other news, I carried my wife (then gf) from Silver Springs back to the hospital and up into the barracks. I also puked all over the side of my friends 06 double cab TRD OR in a drunken mess, in the rain, in a hoodie. So when we got the gate my head was hanging out the window, front half covered in rain and road spray, back half covered in vomit and hood that was also filled with vomit, and a shotgun blast of spew going down the side of the truck. I gave him $20 for a car wash and made sure not to get any in the truck so he was happy. His Tacoma is what convinced me to get my 07. Which I actually used to PCS from Walter Reed to KS :p

lol only spent 4 months there but I've plenty of stories. That place was so relaxed I was basically a single dude with my own apartment and my closest friends living in my apartment complex. On top of just being let out of the restrictive Army training environment that place was a breath of fresh air and we took full advantage of it. We'd at least go to Silver Spring every weekend if we couldn't think of anything else. Went to The Attic to drink since they were awesome to military folks. Got a few stories from that place. And then right before I left I met my wife.

If i got a job in the DC area later in my career, I'd take it.

Disclaimer: My time in DC was spent without a noteworthy commute (I walked the equivalent of one or two city blocks), I didn't own a car, and I lived in a gated compound with armed security guards.

The people I worked with had to live out of the city. Some of them had on base housing at the next closest Army base. They had plenty of horror stories. I woke up 45 minutes before work, max :p

    This.

    Although not quite as much.

100 acres in southern central VA/northern central NC would be my dream property. Mini plantation style house, a couple of buildings around it (entertaining building, "dorm", garages, etc) and a bigass pond.

Give me that and I'd be fucking set for life.
