I had taken that into account and was planning on doing those as well. The price difference between the stage 2 and 3 is what kills me. Over 1k just for uca's?! And how often are those co's needing to be rebuilt? At that point I could get the entire fox setup but haven't heard much about it.
Fattony, did you go 3" with the 887's?

Could always get Light Racing UCA's.

The lr uca's is what I was leaning towards. And the other end is that your doing it every 20k? I wouldn't be wheeling every weekend but id say once a month. Sometimes more sometimes less. I just need to justify if it'll be worth it. Is the ome kit not as stiff as the toytec? Makes for better ride?

There are 30,000 on my old mt ones that was wheeled almost every weekend and they dont need to be rebuilt. I cant make your decision for you its your truck but there are a lot of us that werent happy the first lifts we did to our trucks if I would have thought about it more done some more research and I would have just waited and saved instead of just lifting it so it looked cool. There are a ton of people that have done this so I am not the only one who would say this. But like I said its your money and your truck do whatever you want.

No, I didn't didn't want to deal with possible alignment issues or vibes, so I went with a moderate 2" lift with 884's and a Toytec 1.5" AAL. I only go off road maybe every other month and I have 265/75/16's, so that's enough for my needs. I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about OME on this site (other than vibes and the springs creaking), which is what influenced me - and it was half of what Icons would cost.

I appreciate your input greatly! I'm the type to do things right the first time around so I get where your coming from. I'm in no means in a hurry to buy, just trying to take the extra step to make sure I'm happy with what I get. What lift/s have you had previously?

Well on my first Tacoma I had the icon 2.5 resi coil overs with Tc ucas and in the rear an icon aal with the icon 2.0 shocks with resi. Then that changed and the rear shocks they were getting heated up way to fast with the type of off-roading I do so I got 2.5 resi shocks with compression adjusters in the rear then the aal sagged out which caused me to buy the all pro standard leaf pack in the back then the ass end shot up really high and I then added camburg spindles up front to get rid of the rake and I loved that set up but the truck was missing 1 thing... 4wd so I decided one day to go trade it in and got one the dealership let me take both trucks and swapped the lifts but didn't have the spindles anymore since they won't work with 4wd and added preload to the shocks and that worked fine. Then I took the $10,000 ride in an LT truck. And then I went and got a camburg LT kit with icon coilovers with resi and compression adjusters all the Tc gussets and secondary shock hoops and all that good stuff. Now since I do that the rear keeps up okay but I find it lacking so I am in the process of purchasing stuff for rear LT. It's a slippery slope. But I love it and I have had a few other friends that have done similar drop brackets to mid travel to long travel, ome to king mid travel, drop bracket to king mid travel and a few other examples
