What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Get a small spacer. Pcbuilder and I are running spacers up front. I think its a 5mm iirc.The rears don't rub right?

Also 04 tacomas have slightly bigger brakes too which isn't helping you.

 

Yeah...not in the Portland, Oregon area. $7000+ for anything decent (except the random odd deal obviously).

Did you ever get your backup camera?

 

I'm ordering spacers as we speak, I got them to fit for know but I won't be driving my truck anytime soon. I needed to get them to fit cause I am meeting a guy tomorrow to sell my old rims. The rear is fine. Thanks for the input

You could pull it off easy. I'm rolling 33x12.5 on a 15x8 w/ 3.75" bs. Got the wheels for like 140 (aluminum pacers) and the 15" tire selection is cheaper by a good measure

yea it is a PITA to set up by yourself... haha, well worth it though. this is the first one i have owned

 

what about clearing brakes on 15s? i would like to run tundra brakes at some point

 

They are pretty awkward putting up alone lol. I've got it down after doing it a few times.

 

You won't be able to run tundra breaks with 15's. It's a trade off btw like your rear bumper, cbi?

 

well, I really really like the bumper, the swing out itself could use some work. especially their spindle or rather lack there of, it is pretty lame. there is just a little cap with a set screw holding it on. No bearings, it is hard to swing and sags down when open. the tire mount is alright but sticks off the truck really far. I REALLY dig the bumper though. Their customer service is alright... it turned into a catastrophe with the 4runner bumper i ordered at the same time. The welding is phenomenal, the spindle as i said needs help.
