At first I was thinking to keep your eye on Craigslist, a friend of mine had tools robbed from his car and caught the guy from a Craigslist ad. But after reading the above post I agree that these types of thieves wouldn't sell on CL, they likely have "customers" that needed a Tacoma and/or parts he had on it.

There's a very interesting documentary on Netflix called "American Underwold" they have one episode dedicated to automotive thieves. My mind was blown on how quickly and easily they steal a vehicle, break it down and sell it.

 

CL is ultra amateur, even the meth heads here know better than to throw shit on Craigslist.

 

Crying out loud. I just had a thought ... Hopefully the insurance company won't get all crazy and accuse the OP of setting this up to use the insurance payoff to repay a gambling debt? That would suck!

Luckily this didn't happen at some run down convenience store. Casinos have a myriad of high resolution cameras and great systems with advanced facial and other types of shape recognition. They invest a ton of money in keeping their employees, their guests, and their money safe. I hope it's a slam dunk once the police get access to the video and the technology?
