I never said if I thought it was true or not. However,

The second part of your statement gives him entirely too much credit for his intelligence.

That may be true, but still seriously doubt he would tank the first half of a game so a kid from his high school could win a bet

We plan to lose out until the Clemson game. That's how the OBC rolls.

    Targeting my ass

FUCK YOU ACC, NCAA, and Swofford

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY2aCOe0k60

! foot still on ground, shoulder contacts chest, tacklers head is CLEARLY to the side and from 1 angle, crown is pointed clearly directly away from the receiver.

ACC refuses to comment, refers to NCAA...NCAA says officials got it right...Swofford's ACC NC school bias is worse than ESPN's SEC bias

Oh and BTW, apparently the NCAA took away the ability of a conference to appeal/overturn an ejection/suspension

and FWIW I don't have a problem with the onfield official throwing the flag...because initially I can see how it would look like targeting. The replay official completely blew his job. With that being said, piss poor officiating across the board. They gave us over a yard on a terrible spot early in the game, but it was skewed terribly in Wake's favor. We are the LEAST penalized team in the ACC, and we had 8 for 75 yards. Wake got called for 2 for 29 yards. They completely missed a late hit out of bounds on our QB, refused to call PI when their defender is holding our receiver's arm as the ball gets to him...

I showed this to a fellow I work with that calls games (mostly high school) and was agreeing with you when I saw it live Thursday night. One look he says "that was the right call, he lounged, and defenseless player, easy call". For what that's worth.

Worse blown call than Nigel Bradhams ejection against Miami in like 2011 or 12
