    He should just bring her anyway. His truck is already on the permit so I don't see any problems with his daughter coming along. Plus, I really doubt that someone from DLNR will be up there checking permits, and the guard at the gate would just check to see if Rick has a permit to go up there.

    Can anybody bring some regular wood for the fire pit? I meant to grab some 2x4s and chop them up, but ran out of time...
    I have kiawe, but I don't want to waste that for sitting around. I doubt there will be anything dry enough to burn up there.

    I should have Christmas tree... Ill try and remember to pack it tonight... someone needs a saw or ax though..

    Edit: said christmas tree is now by the truck.. will still need to cut it up...
