I've had my 2015 DCSB blue ribbon for 3 weeks. Washed it today and noticed a door ding on the rear driver's side door.

Ugh. Perfect paint didn't last long. /rant

It sucks man although I have 13 with no door dings yet... I will say get sliders they will protect your doors pretty well from idiots opening their doors.

Nothing on my doors, but sometime, somewhere, someone let their shopping cart go rogue and I have a small dent in my rear driver's bedside.

Perfect Toyota paint is a myth and it will make the ones to follow easier to digest.
Personally, I have learned to park near no one when possible and walk the extra 150 ft.
I've had mine about the same time and have trail dings already.
Find the local Color Glow or mobile company that repairs cars for the dealerships. My local does a fantastic job and usually $25-35 if it is a bad one.

Inconsiderate assholes. My best defense is parking away from the pack. The extra walking distance is a small price to pay.

It had to be one of my co workers. This week my truck has been in two places. In my garage at home or in a secured parking lot at work which the public doesn't have access to.

well, theres no looking back. one ding turns to 2, 2 to 3...its a slippery slope, you will be ramming shopping carts out of your spot in no time.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Years ago I bought a used truck and right in the middle of the passenger door had what appeared to be someone had taken an awl and shoved a 1/2 inch deep hole into it.

I happened across a paintless dent removal guy in a dealership parking lot.. he looked at it and said he can fix it and if I don't like the repair I don't have to pay. Of course I said "go for it" and let me tell you he finessed that SOB in 10 minutes and the repair was completely undetectable. That was the best $50 I spent.

I asked the dealer when I bought my Tacoma about installing door strips, but got blank looks. One suggestion was to ask if the places that sell bed caps do that, but since I did not buy a bed cap, I have not looked into it.

My 05 has zero. I walk a lot.

Running boards or sliders will help.

I'm dreading my first but I have to accept this will eventually happen one day. I probably won't mind when the truck is old tho. Park far and walk for exercise
