So I had to snap some pictures for a new hotel in Long Beach and I wanted to share some of the ones that are not going to be used by the hotel...:) To bad I can't show you guys all the cool ones that I did take unfortunately I relinquish my rights to the photos once they are sold...I usually License my shots but these guys paid more to buy them outright and I can't argue with that! :D

By the way if you ever want to stay at a nice Hotel in Long Beach this is the one...It's called Hotel Maya! Awesome place with great views!

    BUILT, not bought...
    good stuff Marlon.

is it me or is there a slight bit of diffraction in that last indoor shot?

I have noticed some diffraction in some of my most recent indoor images with that new lens I bought.

What lense was that? They're so sharp and clear, and a lack of noise where I would expect it... especially on the 4th shot.

Thanks for all the compliments guys

I shot these with my D300 and my Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 lens...the only thing I didn't like was the glare. The shots I posted were some of the first shots of the night and later into the night I realized that the filter was making some of the light scatter. Needless to say I tossed it really quick into the pacific :D POS filters...it's hard to find good filters now a days so I no longer shoot with filters.

If you want to see the rest of the shots they are posted on the Hotels Facebook Page...
