I know of the Trailspinners. Unfortunately I work almost every Saturday that they hold their monthly work parties but I hope to get out and help next season when I can.

I have ridden Fair Hill once. I enjoyed it, but I just love the fast smooth trails at White Clay/Middle Run more.

Fair hill is closer to my house so I'm there 99% of my riding. During the week the trailspinners do all levels group rides at all the local parks. So its a great way to learn a ton of trails

What would you guys do? Patch a tube, or just replace it?

I just replace and toss the old one in the trash. It seems like they always eventually leak. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. It is always good to keep a patch kit with you however. If you go through your spare tube on the trail, it will leave you with the option of repairing the tube and get you home.

    I wanta play.
I rock a Carbon 26er SETTE Sirum. Fox 32 open bath fork. SLX group set. Elixir 5 brakes. Easton Sl carbon bar and stem, Easton XC one wheels. Bennie pedals and so on. It's dialed in pretty good. I really want to transition into DH riding. I'm getting older so I need the extra travel lol.

Both. I carry a spare tube but depending on where I am in my ride, I might repair the tube if it's not too serious. I've been using those press on patches and they seem to work OK for the small stuff.

We've got this small time race series here in harrisonburg and yesterday was the final race called the 6pack invitational. One of the guys made a cool little video and I'm in it twice. at 1:14 and 2:27. it was so awesome

That video above was awesome. I just got a new bike Friday, 2015 Cannondale Jekyll 650b. I've got Veterans day off (Tuesday) so I'm hoping to get out and ride some trails finally.

No idea. I would guess they aren't significantly different than most other brands tho.

My suggestion would be to get a tube that is a little "bigger" in width than what you need. For example, if your tire is 26x2.195, get one that is 26x2.3/2.4. Why would you do this? When you inflate the tube, it will be a little thicker when fully inflated. Might give you a little extra protection.

As far as the tubes go, for an XC bike, tubeless is the way to go. As far as tubes go, I don't patch them. Patches are meant to get you home when you get a flat IMO. Not saying you can't continue to ride on patched tubes, but eventually the patches will at some point fail, and you'll be back at square one.

My buddy night rides and says it's awesome. I want to get out soon. They are using one on the helmet and one on the bars.
