Yes it can be problematic. Some 16" rims won't clear the calipers. Sadly, no real good way to test it..

I did the Tundra Brake Upgrade and I have 16" rims with sticky weights on the inside of the rims and I cleared the 231mm Calipers just fine.

Installed my toytec bilstein/eibach lift kit today. Did it at the shop I work at with a friend from work. Took us about 3 1/2hrs. Didn't get to take very many pics during the install.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415488625.593652.jpgafter on top, before on bottom. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415488796.327200.jpgcv angle. What do you guys think about the cvs?

Yes definitely. Forgot to mention that in the post. Looks funny with a 3" lift on 29s lol. Can't decide if I want to go with 33/10.5 or 32/11.5

Yeah, i'll probably end up going with the 33's and doing a little trimming. Hopefully i'll get them soon.

I would have to run spacers with the 12.5s as I still have stock rims.

Replaced my passenger lower bj. Went Moog as this truck, if it totals 500 miles over the next 5 months - all city/highway, I will be shocked. If I start thinking of serious wheeling them I'll consider swapping back to OEM.

Anyway, I thought these were non grease-able, but low and behold a grease port on the side. I put in a zerk fitting and pumped a little extra grease in there.

fully armored, 4.88, 33 skinnies, tundra brakes, a REAL cold air intake.

If you have manual hubs, leave the cv angle the way it is. If not get a diff drop.
thats my opinion, but then again, i did that because i have full skids that were touching the dropped diff.
