I know the feeling. I had my 05 DCSB Off Road I modded and wheeled into the sunset since 08 and traded it in for my runner this year. My GF at the time couldnt understand why I was sad lol

Thanks Moondeath. It was actually an easy decision for me seeing as my 2011 Tacoma didn't really have any of the newer models bells and whistle's that I do like. I think that if I had a newer model I probably would still be driving it. I'll still miss the Tacoma though. I've got some miles on the 4Runner now and I have to tell you, she drives like a dream. So smooth on the throttle it's scary. I really must have had more driveline vibration than I thought or wanted to admit to after I put on the 5100's. If the new(16?) Tacoma has most of the cool stuff that's in the 4Runner then it will be a winner I think. I know that some people don't want everything about their truck so refined but I've got to think that most would want these updates for the money they are paying these days.

You'll get no argument from me. I would love a 4runner. I just have too much need for my truck bed. I haul stuff often.

My wife was thinking about getting a 4runner, which made me excited. But we just can't justify 2 bigger vehicles for the 2 of us.

Nice rig man! I've been thinking about getting rid of my 2013 Tacoma since I do not really utilize the bed, at all. After seeing your 4Runner I want one. Now trying to locate the Pro might be a little challenging.

Guys, all I can tell you is if you get in one and take it for a good test drive you will be signing papers soon after......it's that impressive IMHO. But that is only because you are leaning that way already of course. The new car smell will seal the deal! Blackfoot, Fluffy, good luck finding the Pro. I think there will be one out there for you. When you test drive it bring a bib! LOL, seriously though, I still go into the garage just to look at the Pro sometimes. It has such cool lines...I tested the other 4runners on the lot but the Pro just did it for me and all i need is weathertech's(done) and sliders(ordered) and sometime in the future a good roof rack and I'm set for what I like in this vehicle. The lift, rims and tires are spot on. 7 year warranty covers everything because it's factory. Win/win
    Good luck guys!

When I bought my Tacoma we test drove a 4 runner and the Tacoma. I want/need a bed. So handy, even if its only 5'. I drove a 12 Camry for a year and half after getting rid of a Dodge Ram QC 1500. But, now my wife is after me to go get her a 4 runner!

But we have a rule in our house. One car payment at a time. She got the last new car, the Camry, and the second new car Furd Explorer. Then she didn't like camry, so we traded my truck in on an Explorer. We just paid the Explorer off, so I got rid of the Camry and bought the Tacoma. She has 24 to 36 months to wait now for a 4 runner!

By then those nice TRD Pros will be 2 or 3 years old and we will probably go for one of those.

    Nice! I also sold a DCSB Prerunner for a 4Runner, though mine is a 2003 with a 4.7. That V8 is fun to drive. I'm on T4R under Kyle_Uran.

I test drove a White 4Runner Pro today and it was pretty damn nice. Sticker price was $44K.

It must have had some optional stuff on there. What did you think of the interior and the ride?

OP, enjoy your 4Runner, they are definitely nice trucks. I'm personally not a fan of the new front end, or the price tag...the previous generation is my favorite 4Runner.

Not bashing because I have an 02 Sport 4x4 T4R. But T4R.org is not even close to being as active as TW. I'm on here with my 4Runner questions way more

Had a 2007 4R but wife and I decided to upgrade since we wanted third row seating with soon to be three kids. Also was nice to get backup camera and all the other tech goodies. Got a loaded 2013 and the thing is sick! Really love it. Hopefully I get a chance in the future to make some additions.
