Travis - your thinking that due to manual hubs, the axles don't spin all that often (except in 4x of course)?

X3 on 33's. 33x10.5 is great, but really a set of used wheels from CL shouldn't set you back much, if you'd rather go with a 12.5. Think my aluminum pacers, 15x8, were 140 - just needed a little love with some sand paper and rattle can. Btw the lower cost in tires for 15" almost fully covers the differenceof a used set of wheels. Just food for thought :) you'll be happy either way I'm sure!

The moogs will serve you just fine. I know two people that have the moogs and beat the fuck out of their truck (both are LT trucks).

Looks good! I used the same stuff on my last truck. Just know that it isn't the most durable stuff. I had large spots that rubbed off where heavy items (desk, dressers, tool box etc) moved or dragged on the bed

The upside to that though is you can touch the stuff up really easily and it will blend in perfectly

Lol - wheeling the funk out :) I ordered the driver side Moog tonight, so will replace that one as well next weekend. Not sure it is busted but funk it (as HBTaco would say), they wear in pairs, right?

I wound up breaking the tie rod and bj by flipping the castle nut, keeping it a bit above the head of the bolt, and hitting that with the mini sledge. I used the old bj castle nut on the tie rod when banging on it, just in case.

oh? I was saying that because i was unsure for a moment if the caliper would be too wide/thick to fit within my rim (possibly interfering with wheel spokes. But remembered I have spacers now. So there should be clearance within both the diameter and width of the rim. How much lift for 35" tires btw?

I put a new to me motor in my pickup this last week. Truck has over 300,000 on it not. Also fixed a high idle issue today and stripped it of the vinyl badges on the tailgate. All new oem gaskets in the motor. Should go another 200,000 I'm hoping. New LED headlights too :)

How are you planning to set it up this time? Back to a bed rack? I may have liked through your build a couple times :spy:

2-3" same as any other tire. Our trucks can't go any higher. However, you have to cut a massive hole in the fire wall and reweld in a whole new section.

I am also running spacers but only cause 35x12.5r15s rub the frame if you don't.
