Ended sticking with 33s. Yea I couldnt justify MTs either, but I have a DD now, and the ATs were holding me back in Moab and Slick Rock.

I'm going to guess stock suspension in the rear as there's no mention of it at all.

Me too. I saw it from above on the mining road but couldn't find a good way to get there other than walking. Too far of a walk for my wife's crappy knees. She actually wanted to see some wild mustangs. We almost moved to Dayton out there back in the mid 90s, but in all the time we've been out there or passed through, we never saw the horses. Gave up and was headed back toward home when she spotted them.

Then we swung by Taylor Creek looking for some bear shots. She was one happy wife by the end of the day!

That's awesome! All the time I've spent camping in bear country and have yet to see one. Good and bad I guess.

Yeah, I got your number Jason. I thought about texting you from Virginia City area and decided it didn't matter. I still had to stop by Costco anyway to pick up a battery for the highlander, and we wanted to go by Taylor Creek since the timing would be right. There've been a ton of bears this year there, and the visitors have become a nuisance (people, not the Bears). They shut down the parking lot for the season but before that they were considering closing last month because people were approaching the Bears to get selfies!!!

BTW, this is the 6th bear we've seen in the wild. But it's the first time my wife had an opportunity to take pics. We came across one hiking at Grover Hot Springs on the trail on the south side of the creek. Then near Angora we had to stop when a momma and two cubs ran in front of us. This one below we nicknamed Gouda (cleaned the cheese in our trash) who came by for about a week a couple of years ago. He/she was a mega size bear! This is him/her in our back yard. When you stand near it, you realize how tall he/she is. Check out the size of the rear feet too.
