NEED HELP WITH LIGHTS

Having trouble with these lights not working just put new bulbs in checked the fuses and they are good also don't know what else any help would be great

 

maybe a relay?

 

Do anything to the center console by the radio lately?

If so, make sure u plugged the hazard switch back in

 

Aren't those also the park lights as well the hazards lights

 

Do they flash when you push in the hazzards button?

 

Check the wires behind the bulb sockets for voltage. If you have power there then your connectors are cooked. They can be purchased at any auto parts store for less than $20. If you don't have power there, check the fuse.

 

Park can be the outside ones if u don't have dtrl.

U tried blinkers yes?

 

Did the 06 come with DTRL

 

My '06 doesn't have DTRL. There are mods that can be done. Many on the forum.

I'm going out to look at my lights to see what they should look like.

 

the lights you pointed to are the hazzards/ emergency lights. The only other time they come on is when I lock and unlock the doors with the keyless remote. The parking lights are on the corners.

 

Same with my 06'

 

^^this, the 2006 models didn't have DTRL from the factory.

I have no parking lights or low beam lights. I have high beam, turn signals and hazard lights. My truck does not have DTRL but if you leave them on when you shut you vehicle off they will go out automatically. I have a headlight relay ordered but if that don't work, any ideas.

 

What Tacoma do you own?

 

2010 - 4 door V-6 - 4wd - Automatic base model

 

I'm not real knowledgeable of relays, but I think that is the most obvious cause. What were the symptoms? Worked and then next time they didn't?
