Broke passenger mirror housing

So, I knocked my mirror off the truck backing out of a friends driveway. Yes, the telephone pole is that close. Thank god for my NFabs, it saved the door.

Has anyone had to replace their mirror? Any hints, suggestions?

 

I just replaced mine yesterday...it'll be about 225 to get a new mirror...Gotta take that trim inside off...take the door panel off....Three nuts and a wire.

Took me about 20 mins total.

Dude, I just got one for $67 shipped to my door, electric and matches exactly. You got ROBBED!

 

I didn't look that far or want to wait at all...I had it the day after I ordered it.

And I've had less than stellar luck with internet ordered replacement parts. I'm glad yours matched and everything tho. I'm content with paying too much to have the right part the first time.

 

You ordered it and received it the same day??

 

cheap on ebay i was checking because the person who had the truck before me broke it off. He glued it all back together so im thinking maybe bondo it, sand it and paint it and it will look like new, o ya he only broke the part that is flush with the door
