    As an aside, here in Washington, it turns out that signing up as an organ donor may go further than people might think. The courts have upheld it to mean, also giving your organs and potentially entire body, to medical schools and other "worthy causes", not just for transplantation.

    It's not well known or publicized, but if you want to opt out of donation for experimental purposes and either specify organs or specific purposes, there is a supplemental form you need to fill out and have on file. The default is everything and everybody.

    I am TOTALLY cool with replacement parts, but not so cool with my body being used for cadaver dog training or decomposition testing, among other things that are called out.

    Your mileage may vary.
