any mountain bikers?

    that is the worst.

    i got a story for you... one time my chain snapped just before that rest spot. luckily it was nearly all downhill from there back to the trucks. so i was with 6 other guys. disappointed, i said "well give me a head start since im gonna be the slow guy down as i cant pedal. give me 5 mins then im sure you will follow behind shortly" (figured if i crashed i wouldnt be wayyy behind my group)

    ...... whatever it is, the 30-45 mins it took to get down from there, didnt see my friends. got to the car. got my gear off, sat, drank water... waited... 10 mins later my group is down in the parking lot with the "WTF face" :eek:

    i guess i wasnt braking as much since i knew i couldnt pedal, all i had was momentum... to this day, we still talk about it and they still praise me haha.

    Hahahaha same stuff happened to our friend. He broke his rd at the start of the dh. So he basically just bombed the whole thing.

    was probably the scariest run i had down that mountain... so many close calls... but no fucks given!

    Yup. Its a fun trail. Just no advisable to do it in the middle of a heat wave lol.

    totally agreed... did it once. never again. the hike up in the middle was terrrrrrrible. thought i was going to pass out and be left for the vultures. hit me up next time you come to OC? always looking for more riding buddies.

    Sure thing. Im in between jobs so riding sched varies mostly just quickies in fullertoon loop/turnbull before work. And i hate climbing too lol but its a necessity lol
