Didn't even check this site out before I went, but I was up there on Friday. This was the result of my night run on an unmarked trail.

    Nice!!...:D

Lesson learned... There is no majority vote on what road you're gonna take. Whoever is the lead vehicle gets to choose...:D At least that's the past trend...

    Still washing my truck...
Swept up 2 dustpans full of dirt and gravel

My driveway looks like the upper road :D
And I still don't know why Toyota decided to give off roads plastic mirrors, and sports colormatched. I'm sure the painted ones would hold up better than this :(

My painted ones aren't that bad. I do have some pinstripes on the side of my truck though.

Most of that will wash out tho. And wax will hide it for awhile. I have a few bad ones going down the entire length of my truck.
Are you gonna blame me for your trail damage too?

Mine looked like that last night. Good thing I washed my truck outside my yard.
Gotta get me a set of those rhino ramps. Tired of carrying my old school steel ramps.

I have some of those from kaena point...

Exactly. Its gonna happen. I would never blame anybody for any damage. You are in control of your vehicle, and you choose your line. You assume the risk of damage. We all had radios, there is no shame in asking for a spotter.
Just taking your truck up there you assume the risk. The boulders fell from a cliff. It could happen anytime. That's why I don't like hanging around for very long in those areas. And I think its funny we drove down that same path in total darkness and avoided damage, but we had problems in broad daylight when you can actually see the hazards.
I'm also pretty sure I offered a couple times to drive everybody down the main road to the gate and we would go back and wheel the lower road on our own. I drove up there to wheel and explore trails, and I'm pretty sure Ron didn't drive up there just to bring us coffee.
Hanging out with good friends and eating good food is just a bonus.

There was only a few really light/faint scratches after I washed the truck. Should have seen my wife's face when she saw the truck before I washed it.
