Satoshi Grill (HomerTaco), Ambiguous' headlights, refinished my frame with POR-15 after half a week of prep and rust removal
Used air compressor powered needle scaler to chip flaky rust off of the frame. I also removed trailer hitch to chip away and re-paint it. Side bars are also soaking to remove the old paint to be restored.

Removed center console, shifter surround vinyl - will be painting them as well, because I dislike the grey.

I'll post a pic of the gloss black frame (POR-15) after it is done. I'm doing it correctly step by step. Many people POR their frame with the flaky rust and they say it is a bad product when it peels. The best part about the scaler is that it will break off areas that you aren't even aware have rust. It gets you down to the surface, but will not break off paint that still has a good bond and no rust. Such an amazing tool. You can see what surface rust that I used the scaler to attain, vs flaky rust from before.

Ya, I wait and save up for the larger purchases like lift and RTT. It also helps when my wife and I give each other awesome things like gears (She got some really expensive purse and hair extensions) for a birthday presents.

Got my CL find gemtop topper covered in bedliner yesterday. The black matches my truck well (I'll get apic up soon). I used the bedliner on my centercaps, too. I had them painted gloss black but it sort of clashed with the flat black cap so now they match!

I'm going to bedline my grille soon.

Today or tomorrow I hope to chop my exhaust over the rear axle.

In the next few weeks I will be building a platform for my pooch.

Last week I changed the rear differential fluid and a much needed hand wash.

I stopped coming to this site cause it's been making me sad. All of my money has been going to buying Snap-on tools. No truck mod money left.

Yup that's one of the reasons we all buy Tacomas right? Good looking truck, reliable, awesome resale, easy to mod, etc... :D

I have been lurking here for 8 years now, tell me about it! Mine is a daily driver though, 80 miles per day round trip. I came real close to ordering myself a new front plate bumper a few years back. Reality kicked in though as I really "needed" tires, not a new bumper. Still though to see all the cool stuff for our trucks drives me crazy because I can't have it right now. I'm feeding another addiction/obsession right now called 458 Socom. :)
