    As a Leafs fan who was born in the Ottawa area, I can verify that Ottawa fans have always been extremely butthurt over the fact that it's basically a neutral site game when the Leafs play in Ottawa.

    When I was 16 my dad and I went to visit my extended family in Ottawa (we've lived in Alberta the last 15 years). We made sure to book our trip around attending a Leafs/Sens game like when I was a little kid. It was awesome, literally a sea of red, white, and blue jerseys. No matter who scored or took a penalty there was a great reaction from the stands.

    We sat 3 rows up from the Sens home net. Some idiot sitting behind us got drunk and started muttering about my dad wearing his Alfredson jersey and me wearing a Sundin jersey about halfway through the 3rd. Apparently it deeply offended him that my dad let his son choose his team and I ended up a Leafs fan (we spent a few years living just outside Toronto when I was about 7, critical fan formation years). We just ignored it but it's always soured me from going back to a Sens game when I visit my family back east.

    When I go to a Flames game here there's no fan fighting, even when it's an Oilers/Flames match up. Half the time we all end up laughing about the same things in the stands no matter who we are cheering for.

    Yeah a few bad fans and really change the whole experience. I love going to see the Cottonmouths play, its not 16K fans, but 5K in a local arena can be a blast! :D Ducks games are a lot of fun, nice people and a good time, but still like the smaller venue.
