What? you mean IG? Thought it was funny and am still not sure if she was legit. Either way she can have that underexposed horribly composed picture LOL! Should have said sure but you must hire me for all expense paid trips to cover cool events!

And nice Gage! I hope it warms up a hair, although it'd be a good test for the tipi. Did you get a stove with it? i forget...

Hmm brand new the body is 1400... I think until I shoot a mirrorless my decision is going to stay the 6D (tough decisions... haha).

The positives just don't outweigh the negatives and I'm already comfortable with Canons setup. We'll just see what happens before our trip to Chile, that trip is the one thing that would push me over the edge to switch. Two things i'm grappling with are, am i okay with carrying around a camera that expensive everywhere i take the 60d currently and is the image and camera quality worth the expense jump for me...

Well the way I see it you'll use both bodies yes? So can take the 60D to a lot of places you might not want to take the 6D.

But then there is the fact pro guys take their gear all over the place, so it should hold up...

Although you are more worried about theft yes?

I wouldn't jump on it only because you already have a nice camera and I doubt you will really see a huge difference other than size.

Idk I have read lots and lots of reviews and comments from guys that moved from 60d to 6d and they say it's night and day.

The ISO performance gains alone would be killer.

I couldn't justify it. Maybe when a camera dies or its completely outdated.

I know I'd like one within the next few years. And keep the 60d too

Lol, yea monte you are harder on your camera stuff than i am for sure. I dont think i'll be able to let the 60d go after talking with the people at wyo cam outfitters in casper last month when i was there and played with the 6D. They all loved the 60d for the pocket it fills and the quality it produces at that price point. The one guy even said it's his main camera... It was fun being there and shopping so to speak and have them say that. They want people to make the right decision.

Was it really that much bigger?? Or was it more the lens ya think?

I am pretty happy with the 60d overall. It does great really.

But I feel like the 6d would be just awesome.

Granted I should probably get some real glass first..

Mine took like 3-4 spills this summer...haha
