If we can get a lead and get a stop, we can play the ball control game and hopefully just run Gurley, Chubb and Michele. Mason might have to make a couple of throws here and there, but he's been pretty improved the last few weeks. I still don't want the ball in his hands tow in the game. There might be 600+ rushing yards from these two teams combined this game.

First of all, I think it was a bad call. It wasn't a malicious hit/play, and it was pretty clearly a continuation penalty, and it's not surprising he didn't hear the whistle (which is what he was clearly trying to explain to the officials afterwards).

But anyway... I didn't understand the down and distance either. It was an after-the-play foul, so I really thought it would be a 15-yard mark-off from the previous spot, which at that point was first and goal from the 1 or so. Until I hear/read something more official, it looks to me like they made a mistake... should have been first and GOAL not first and 10 from the 16 or wherever.

I think it's because it appears that UGA can run all day and night, and auburn can't stop anything. Gurly's coming back = auburn's screwed.... unless..........

My feelings on this subject are known.

Speaking of which... I think Coach would look good on you:

There is no questioning that the SEC is the best top-to-bottom conference in college football. For a large portion of the 2014 season, it was looking like the SEC could potentially end up with two teams representing the conference in the inaugural College Football Playoff (CFP). Now, there is the very real possibility that the members of the ultra-competitive SEC could all knock each other out of the CFP picture.

thats about right, except for the fact that state will defete ole miss with ease thanks to Auburn taking tsun only receiver out for the season. If somehow we manage to beat state this week, and can heal up enough over our western carolina game, we might beat auburn but being down two good running backs now, all anyone has to do is double cover cooper and play safe everywhere else to completely shut down our offense. so wins look very slim in our future.

Home Blake + revenge Saban + a defense who seems to be gelling + Kiffin's inaugural IB at night against the boogers' d (yes, lower case d who hopefully will lose to jawja and completely implode) has me all bonered up.

Has anyone seen the ginger? I wonder if he decided to go full drifter after that loss and if he's still alive.

I'm not trying to argue the call and really wasn't sure who I even wanted to win. I just thought the mark off could've/would've changed the way the series of downs was called or played. Could've have ended with a fg which would have changed LSU's play calling too, so to me I thought it was a pretty big deal that was overlooked.
