According to that site (I had used it before, really is awesome) my RPMs at 105 mph would be 4144, compared to the 4397 which I calculated. (the 5th gear ratio on W59's is not constant, some are .81 and some are .85  )

Anyways, I think with 33's the 4.56 won't be too bad to street. If the consensus here is that they are bad on the street I could go 4.30... What would you recommend Monte?

Yup, it is drawn up in AutoCAD. Hybrid bumper, kinda close to what BFF makes.

4.56s and 33s should be damn close to stock feel with 4.10s and 31s. I think it'll be a great choice.

Shit dude. I don't even have a locker. It's not gonna stop you and you shouldn't let it. Fronts are rarely used anyways and from what I have seen not totally helpful half the time anyways.

I feel like I would break CVs all the time if I had a front locker. But that's just me.

Here is a screenshot of what my bumper looks like so far...
Just using this as a rough draft. Mocking it up soon enough.

Don't worry about thread jacking, I'm all for it.
If you have a college email AutoCad is free ;)

You sure you want a kickout on front and rear? Seems that would catch a lot of things and make your situation worse, not better.

You also might want to have your outside kickout angles not be so harsh, otherwise I'd imagine it would be fairly easy to get hung up on a rock or something.

Ill check out the AutoCad.. I do have a college email haha..

I mostly want to stick to square tube for ease of cutting. The only reason I thought of that design is because I see it on a sweet 2nd gen truck on my way to school everyday. I still need to grab a pic of their sliders for future reference.

For the front kick out it would be mostly flush with the side of the truck. I would want the point of the kickout to not be so defined on the front and have a larger on in the back. Still trying to decide. I'm going to go try and get autocad and sketchup a couple of designs!

I'd be interested in a pic of that truck once you get one. I wanted my sliders wide as heck, I've seen plenty of slider equipped trucks with dents in the door/rockers/bed so I decided to keep them wide.

I wonder if the front kickout is for his fiberglass fenders... Hmm. Nonetheless :worthless:

Nah, he had them on before the glass was put on.

This is a old picture when i first saw it, it has changed quite a bit from when i first saw it. It also has 4 flush mount led pods in the bedsides now.

Looks good! You might want to add some some of gusset for those top tubes though.. It seems like they're kinda long to not be guessed and would want to fold in pretty easily if they got hit on the ends.
